Here's parts of conversations I've had with animals. The amount shared here depends on how talkative the animal was and the privacy of the conversation.
I didn't know anything but their name and age when I talked to these animals.

My favorite food is meat. Different kinds of meat, but meat.
I love people, sometimes I get really, I mean really, excited because I love them so much.
I'm good at following animals and people. (Meaning using his nose)
I try to walk nicely on a leash but there are times I get excited and pull on it.
In Ireland theres many streetdogs and some die.
The most important thing in my life is to make people happy because some people don't have anything else to make them happy.
Why do people fight so much? (Generally speaking, and he's hinting a bit about war)

I think my name is cool but I want a name that says something about my beauty, or something royal.
I think humans can be a nuisance when they're waving their hands around my head, but I think children are more nice and soft towards me.
I like to be ridden but sometimes it lasts too long.
Recently I got a bronze medal and my person was so happy about that.
"Why do humans eat with forks and knives" (Answered "It's because its easiest that way, they don't want to make a mess.") "Why don't they just lick around their mouths?"

My favorite food is carrots because they are sweet and crunchy.
The best thing about being a bunny is you don't have to worry about paying bills or work.
I like summer more than winter because there's green grass to eat. In the winter my ears get cold. Bunnies don't have much fat so thats why I get cold even though my fur is thick.
My last home couldn't take good care of bunnies, we got the wrong food and our cage was too small. The cage we got now is better, I can jump more.
I like dogs. They got more love in them than cats. Cats also have love in them, but dogs have more.
I like some people. The people who smell good. Because the people who smell bad can't take good care of bunnies.
Children are a bit too wild for me, I get stressed.
I'm afraid of the vacuum, so I jump under the bed to hide.
In my future home I'd like to live like I live right now, but I'd like to stay here because I like my persons.*

I like to play with balls, chase after them, bite and shake them.
I like other dogs if they like me.
I don't like to be alone because then I feel alone (haha) and I can whine a bit.

I know all sorts of commands but I only do them when I want to.
If you want to teach me something do it in a kind way.
My level of activity depends on my mood.
I only growl if I'm afraid of something and I don't bite.

I was in a accident involving a locomotive, thats why I got three legs.

I love to chew on bones.
I like to sleep in the blue dog bed or on the carpet.
When somebody tries to put a vest on me and I don't want to - I don't like it.
I like rock music.
"Sometimes when I stand on a chair and it wobbles I get scared and jump down."
One time when I was walking and sniffing on a dirt road I lifted my head and saw a deer a couple of meters from me staring at me.
"Why can't you eat stones?"
I got a bit of a pain on the inner corner of a paw.

The best thing about being a bunny is that you can move around so much and that you don't have to wake up in the morning if you don't want to.
In my home before this we lived outside and I got cold. I don't like to be cold.
Horses look funny.
I go around freely every day.
I'm good at cuddling on the sofa.
I'm really active but I have some down time too, when I, like I just told you, cuddles on the sofa.
Theres some good people and some bad ones, like my last owner but she had problems with her mental health and economy, if she didn't she could be a good person.
In my future home I want lots of food, a big cage and roam around freely like I do now.*
Why do people get to choose when to eat and bunnies don't?

I'm not usually alone at home, but when I am. I don't really like it and I run around and chase my tail.
I'm good at jumping around everywhere.

I don't like chairs. They are unreliable because they move in and out from the table. Also I don't like the vacuum.
My barking is fine. I think I bark a normal amount and I usually do it when I want attention.
I'm afraid of getting yelled at.
I walk pretty good on the leash unless I see some animals to chase.

The last place I lived at I had lots of dog friends (she lived at a pound).

I think that children drool, makes a mess, makes loud noices and runs around alot so they might fall on me so I get insecure when I play with them, but other than that I like them ok.
If someone who knows what they're doing I walk nicely on a leash, but otherwise I pull on it quite a bit.

When I got neutered I was a bit awake and felt them cut me. It hurt.
I like car rides but only short distances.
Why do people walk with boots? Why do turtles lay eggs?
I'm mostly happy but sometimes I get sad and I don't like to be sad so I try to be happy all the time.

I like to be lazy in the couch, and also run when people take me outside.

To be left alone is the worst.
Some people need to get their life together, they don't know what they're doing and got to plan some more.
Children are ok.
The thing that I am good at is to care about others who don't feel so good.
I am the most active in the morning.
People think that I am a fine dog that has been through a lot.
If people touch me where I hurt I growl.
I bark when I meet other dogs.
Why would I run after cats when I could do so many other things?
Sometimes I get a headache cause people scream so loud.

Car rides are fun as long as the driver thinks its fun.
The place I was before this was horrible. Dogs got abused. Sometimes we got hit so hard we bled. (There was also something involving pliers). I am glad I got out of that place.

My best friend is a girl with a ponytail.
I don't really like my name. Why should I be named something that doesn't represent who I am?
I like to tug at a rope, chase chickens, swim, run in the forest and cuddle in bed.
I love kids. I wag my tail, wag my whole body, whines, pants and lick them in the face and lay down on my back.
I'm good at jumping through hoops and sniff trails.
I know some commands but now all of them.
If someone wants to teach me they should do it with candy.
I don't like strollers. I growl at them.
People are suprised at how kind I am.
I bark at the mailman and when I am alone at home.
My left hip kind of hurts.
I'm afraid of getting yelled at and getting hit by a belt.

The place I was at before this was calm but the people didn't like me or care about me that much so they didn't feed me enough and left me outside in a doghouse.

I like it when its not too hot and not too cold and just a little bit of clouds in the sky.
I would describe myself as considerate bunny with lots of speed and action.
One of my favorite toys is a stuffed animal.
The best thing about being a bunny is that you can be yourself.
People think of me as little and cute.
I escaped from my old home because I didn't like being in the cage and it was too cramped.
My cage now is good but I prefer to be outside of it. Mostly I am out of it, in the living room.
Things that I am good at: chewing my food well, I can jump quite high, walk through tunnels and reach my ear when I scratch myself.
I move around as much as I can.
Car rides make me bored.
I can bite but only when I get scared.
In my next home I would like it to be big and I want long tunnels. I don't want a cage.*

My best friend is a man with a grey mustasche, he's my best friend because he always plays with me and tells me how pretty I am.
I like to jump in the lake, swim and track stuff.
It's horrible to be alone at home, I hate it. I pee myself and tear stuff apart.
What I think about humans is I think they are smart, they know how to treat me well. Sometimes they say things without thinking first but they know how to say sorry.
I love kids!!!
I'm good at tracking stuff and lay on the couch and take it easy.
I know some commands and I am pretty good at them. I am obedient.

I like car rides because it's exciting to look through the window and there's lots of noices.

It sucks to be alone at home because when that happens I can't get the attention I want.
I think humans care too little about each other.
I like to snuggle with kids and to lay close to them.
The way you should teach me stuff is with treats and clearly show me what to do.
I don't like to take showers because my fur becomes sticky, shots and claw clipping.
People think that I am kind, that I am sweet, that I am good at things like rolling around and jumping in a sandcastle "thats the best thing you can do on a rainy day".
I growl at intruders.
I don't bite.
I bark on command and on ducks.
My whole body hurts, it feels like needles, it's uncomfortable but I'm happy anyway.
I'm the best at walking on a leash because I know how to do it and I'm also the best at swimming.
I'm afraid of ants because they sting.
I don't like car rides because I connect it with going to the vet. I just lay down and feel bored.
In my old home they refused to give me food because I didn't obey. I enjoy my current home because I get all the help I need.
Everybody feels bad for me but I don't want them to feel bad about me, because I am happy.
My paws and mouth is dry.
I was shy before but I'm much better now.
It's important that I get the right kind of food.

I'm good at training. I enjoy it because you feel yourself getting smarter and smarter and you can boast to your friends.
I don't like vacuums and ticks.
People think that I am a smart dog willing to learn.
I don't usually bark much, only occasional when they don't listen to me, for example when they are making food.
I like to run after other animals as fast as I can.
I got some pain in my neck and my hip. Also when I eat too much and lay down my stomach hurts.
When I walk on a leash I do the best I can, but I don't promise that I'll be good.
Car rides are especially fun when you're going really fast and see the trees swishing past you.
My last home was a normal home, but there was a lot of anger and sorrow. They had problems, they couldn't get along, but I like my current home.
The most important thing for me is to go outside and move around as much as possible each day.

Don't leave razors in the open because cats are curious and could get hurt.
You should treat everyone well and consider that everyone has feelings and could get sad about something someone has said or done to them.
For example someone is ugly or is bad at making food.
Remember to put the lid of the toilet down, because otherwise you could fall down. I don't like to get wet because I don't like to clean myself afterwards. Yuck, toilet water.
I want to say that if a dog jumps over a fence thats because they want to get out of there.
I was born at a place where no one could see me.
Someone hit me really hard with their hand.
I am a nice cat and I only want the best for everyone, and if you were here I would stroke my body against you leg.
I like to get scratches under my chin.
I like to balance on things and jump from things. I use my tail to keep my balance.

It can be hard to find a place to sleep and it kan be hard to behave well around food.
The people here are nice, they care about us.
I think the world is a pretty place and you should appreciate it more.

The best things about being a dog: Chase after balls in the grass. Everybody likes you as you are and for that I am very grateful, because not everybody gets to feel that. You can do whatever you want without being judged. For example, if I pee on the floor it is less bad than if a human does it.
The things I like to do the most is to relax in the sun with my friends and just lay down and be lazy.
I like to go to discos (he probably means like a exhibition or some kind of special event) I like to do many things but most of all I like to jump around in the sun. I usually chase balls, chew on bones and jump from bridges.And cuddle in bed.
My advise I have to give is that everybody should get equal treatment, because everybody's got the same worth, and if somebody treats somebody poorly they should sit in a corner and be ashamed of themselves. I think it is important that everybody gets food, because sometimes I don't get food because it's not enough for me, everybody empties the bowls before me. That's why I'm going to move, because I don't get what I deserve at home. I hope I get a home with many balls.
Why do people say mean stuff to eachother? Here at my home the people often say mean stuff to eachother and I try to make them stop but it doesn't help.
What I want to say about my home right now is that I've got a good bed, good space, but I don't get the attention I need. I need love, it is the best thing I know.
Did you know that birds can fly as high as the mountains?
Meat tastes good. I want chicken with a bit of water in it.
I just want to say that I love my owner but I need more attention.

Sometimes when I get ridden I sometimes rear up a little bit.
The best things about being a horse is to run in the pasture in the summer with friends and use the freedom that humans don't have.
I like to jump small logs in the forrest, not too small but not too big. When that happens I get mischievous.
I like to take care of those around me. And if someone scratches me I gladly scratch them back. I like to roll in mud.
Remember to always help those around you, they might need help even if they don't look like they need help.
The best ones aren't always those who look like they are the best.
I am the one that's always up for the things I get asked to do and has a good attitude, and that does not only mean I do it, I also give it my best try.
I like to have a lot of speed, be mischeivous with the other horses and I also like carrots and apples.
I like to always be the first one out in the pasture. I am the one who waits in the stable and waits to get out.
I don't like it when you stretch my legs out like this (showing a picture when a back leg is stretched out like a stretching/yoga exercise) because it feels like I am going to fall over.
The things that I have to say about the place I live at right now is that I have a lot of space, big pastures, I can do what I want when I want because nothing stands in my way. There's also a kitten.
I wave my front leg in the air sometimes when I am inside a horse trailer.
Big trucks are okay as long as they are not too close to me. They sound scary.
I like to be outside of home on training because I get to show off what I can.

The best thing about being a horse is that I always get it my way in the end, for example, I can always start a canter when I want to. I'm so tough and nobody can tell me to do something else.
I like to play with the wheelbarrow and the pitchfork.
I feel free when it rains.
I like to do most things, as long as I don't have to put too much energy in it.
You shouldn't trust just anybody.
I'm mischievous when I get ridden and I don't do the things they say I should. They think I behave badly.
A chain in the halter is painful, but I'm tough and I don't want to look sad.
I walk in front of them when we're going out to the pasture, because I want to go to my friends.
I don't like when it's muddy because it's so slippery and I slip so easily.
The best things is to get treats and lay down and cuddle in the straw.
I like to neigh and say hello to my friends on the other side of the fence.
One time I stood so high on my hindlegs that my person was really mad and used a whip on me.

The best things about being a horse is that you can be yourself, relax and get help. It's a nice feeling to don't worry. There's others that do the work, and because of that you can use your energy on thinking about more important things in life, like, life matters.
I can decide the pace of my development and that is the most valuable thing I've got.
I like to roll in mud, it feels nice against your body.
I like to stand with the wind against my back because it feels like you've got life ahead of you, like you're being blown towards the right direction.
I feel unsure of too big fences (that you jump), because I don't have enough control of my legs.
I like to have fun in the pasture.
The advice I've got to give is that you should do as oneself pleases and that you always got the final say on things in your life. Take care of each other, you should thank each other. It causes less misunderstandings between individuals.
I feel happy that you think that I'm smart, everybody doesn't call me smart.
When I'm outside I always check a specific place where maybe there's something scary.
I had many people surrounding me in my youth.
Why should people care so much about results? I think its a shame that people need to feel that pressure.
I've always wondered why birds fly so high.
I'm like my home. There's many places to graze.
I get irritated when people brush on me too roughly.

The best about being a dog: I always get attention and praise.
I like to sit on the lap, lick the face, play with the sprinkler and trampolines are fun.
I'm pretty calm and laid back, but at the same time kind and I can be playful sometimes, but most of the time I like to take it easy, I like to eat in peace and quiet. Food is the second best thing after my person.
Sometimes they take the bones away from me and I don't like that.
Why did they leave me when they were going to the mountains? I can climb mountains, too. Why do they never tell me when they're going away?
I think it's sad that I have to move because I love my person and I want to protect him with my whole heart and I would do everything for him but he wouldn't do everything for me.
The best is to lay down close to my person and feel his breath and heartbeat.
Don't lose hope, you're worth the best and nobody can take that from you.

A dog is the best you can be because you get such a great connection to your person.
I love to watch TV and jump in the water, to chase a beach ball, I like to chase little kids, hens and to practise heal on walks.
My persons are invaluable, because I wouldn't survive without them.
I like cuddle-times in bed and to be pet on the sides of my head.
I like to join fishing trips.
I like the moments I get to lay on the bed with a pillow.
You should make sure to change my water bowls often.
I need time to learn.
You should know that I walk in the front because I'm alert and pull alot.
They took me from my mother when I was little.
Everyone should think about what they have to offer to the world. I offer love.

The other fishes in the aquarium wants to be at the place we were at before.
I like to swim on the bottom and search.
I think that a shell and a cave (looks like a stump-cave) is missing, we had many of those in our previous home.
I've got more room than I had before.
I've got many friends.
It's good that you're talking to me right now.
I've learned that you should watch out for the other fishes, because one time one of them almost bit one of my front fins off.
I think humans are irritating when they make lots of noise.
The siamese catfish are smart but they don't get why they're at this place.

We need lots of oxygen, so keep it that way.

I want a home, I've been without one for so long now.
I'm the one who thinks the most here.
I like to chase balls that bounce.
I'm good at fixing peoples hearts.
I like hens.
The things that are good in my life are that I'm surrounded by so many people that know what's best for me, that I can fall asleep on a clean bed every day, that I can have friends that like me and all the gifts that I've gotten.
The advise I have to give is to don't sit and wait for no reason, it's coming when it's coming, just wait for the day to evolve by itself and you'll not be disappointed, because sometimes I get disappointed when I've waited for no reason.
A special event I remember was the time when there were many people that visited me, they pet me and I wagged my tail alot.
Another event was when I went on a slide. My bum hurt afterwards.
I have to say that it's fun to swim and have many balls in your mouth.
I like to cuddle, be near a person and stay there until you get tired of being there.
I think it's good there's kennels because dogs like me get a second chance.
I think the best is when somebody can show love.
What I want to say about my future home is that they should take good care of me and I'm going to take good care of them, I want to have the best moments, I want to play retreiving, I want my home to have many kids because they are fun to play with, I want them to live in a big house and have somewhere where I can crawl into (like a hiding place)
The best thing I know is to be petted on my belly.

I'm always alert, I try to calm myself down but it's hard.

The things missing in my life are a dad, a mom, a back massage och some more food.
The things that are good in my life are that I get the care that I need, I get so much love around here and also I like that there are so many balls because I get soooo happy because of them.

I like to jump, take it easy and have the sun shine on me.
I'm a safe horse that others can rely on, I'm in charge in the pasture.
The things that's missing in my life is a bucket of water, I want somebody that I can rely on.
People misunderstand me when they think I'm cross when I bite but I just want to tell them about different things they can't do.
The mane comb can't be too close to my head and I don't like it when they clean my back end, the water is too cold.

My favorite foods is carrots, cucumber and clementines. I like clementines because they're so sour and you get alert from that.
I like to jump around on the lawn, get petted, scratched under the chin, cuddle in bed, do crazy jumps and when your friends like you because when they do you feel love. You have to think that way, otherwise you forget you have them. Friends appreciate when you appreciate them.

The advice I want to give is consider those who are smaller, otherwise they can get stepped on, pump your bicycle tires well or else you won't go anywhere and if you love someone you have to say it to them or else they won't know it. For example, you can groom them or lay on your back close to them.
